Format: Illustrations 37, 79, and 80 from the French edition of Beche's A Geology Manual [books.google.com]
Description: Not really cartoons per se, but they do look delightfully dopey in that Victorian prehistoric life way, and kind of cartoony. The crocodile is surprisingly well-hidden in the first. My eye is so drawn to the other critters that it takes me a moment or two to see it, even though I know it's there.
